Postgraduate Studies

 Well, we talked about our majors and what things we want to do for our future, which is so cool, but now we’ll talk about the postgraduate studies. For me it is so hard to think about it because I want to do a lot of things, maybe the thing that moves me the most is to study something related to sountraks, like a composer for audiovisual media for example. I’d like to study outside the country because I wanna live the experience of living outside, know other cultures and societies, and describe myself not from the experiences with the people who I share habits, culture, etc, but “find myself” in a context where I am an outsider. There’s 2 countries that I’d like to study something related to composing original soundtracks for audiovisual, Japan and the USA, because I think they have the biggest industries for OST’s. Also both countries amaze me in a lot of ways, Japan is such a cool country, with a cool urban style of life and also but also I love the connection that they have with nature, the shrines are wonderful and a lot of tradition seems pretty cool. USA is a very weird country, I hate the “gringo” stereotype, and the consumerism culture they have, but there’s a lot of bands, artists, poets, writers, etc who I admire and are from this country , and I wanna find that cultural face.
